With small class sizes, an unparalleled breadth of activities for pupils, global alumni and a rich heritage of over 500 years – RGSGD is a uniquely different and exceptional environment for each and every pupil.
At the Royal Grammar School Guildford Dubai we welcomed our first pupils in August 2021. Our campus is designed for boys and girls aged from 3 to 18. We are currently accepting applications for academic year 2024/25 from Early Years to Year 9, and the school will grow year by year.
Our school embodies the ethos and values that have underpinned the Royal Grammar School Guildford in the UK for over 500 years. These, combined with a spirit of innovation and development, will prepare pupils for the challenges of the 21st and 22nd centuries. We lead by example, stay true to our values, innovate, collaborate and strive to be the very best we can be.

What is it that makes RGS Guildford Dubai so very special? For me as Principal of the school, and through my previous roles in the senior leadership team at our sister school, the Royal Grammar School Guildford in the UK, it is the fact that our school provides children with the foundations for a happy, fulfilled life, celebrating them as individuals and giving them the encouragement to fulfil their own potential within an inspiring, inclusive, and supportive community, as they prepare for college and university. It is my privilege, alongside my team of exceptional teachers, to impact, inspire and guide our young people to become future ready, global citizens who are driven to make a change in the world.
Our buildings and sports grounds provide an outstanding and unique environment for our pupils to learn. At the Royal Grammar School Guildford Dubai, a genuine interest in our pupils, relationships that promote happiness and wellbeing and a curriculum entwined with our values, will provide the platform for our pupils to reach their full potential, irrespective of their passion. Our aim for our pupils is for them to have a responsible and independent attitude towards life and to achieve their full potential in terms of academic achievement, creative appreciation and spiritual awareness.

The education at the Royal Grammar School Guildford, Dubai is based on our school offering in the UK with some adaptations for life in Dubai. We offer our pupils a happy, well-ordered and stimulating environment where they can progress to their full potential. Our curriculum is carefully planned to maintain a balance between ‘what’ is to be learned alongside ‘how’ we learn.
Our school has been designed with the community and sustainability in mind. Located within Majid Al Futtaim’s exciting new Tilal Al Ghaf development between Dubai Motor City and Sports City, our school is a vibrant hub where education goes beyond the classroom. It is a welcoming space where pupils, teachers, parents and the local community come together.
