Went for dinner with my wife for a meat night Although the variety was not much but the taste of the food was nice The food was fresh The service was amazing

We had great dine experience ❤️food was amazing and the staff so friendly and attentive specially thanks to Ahmed for the great services most recommended

It was a little noisy in the piano section, That there are some children was playing with it, But thanks for Mr. Bibek, He was super helpful and served us very well.

The staffs were amazing and the food was average. The seating and buffet settings are quite far and quite close to the entrance

Went there for ramadan iftar and it was beautiful.. calming.. cool vibes.. with oud being played by a gentelman in the center stage and people enteracting with him cheeting and clapping.. food was delicious with many varaities.. coffee and tea served after.. staff were lovely.. the only downside was the desserts (the mini cakea and mini mousse cups to be specific) tasted a bit off.. a place worth multiple visits tho

Iftar at the Dunes Cafe was quite a spread with life stations for you soups, pasta, nan etc. Rare find was the generous seafood selling 😋 A stack of sweets welcome you into the Arabic inspired decorated dinning arrangement. Buffet dinner was exceptional and tasty.... don't miss the kebabs and sweet aisle!!!

Dunes Café is the all-day-dining restaurant at the Shangri-La Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road. Located in the lobby on the right as you enter its décor is very much a continuation of the hotels, and as such, is a very pleasant place to dine. The Dunes buffets and Friday brunches have made quite a name for themselves and are considered one of the better culinary offering on the Sheikh Zayed strip. Benjarong at the Dusit Thani on the opposite side of the highway being the notable other. I was at Dunes to try their breakfast buffet with a friend who was staying at the hotel. Being at the Shangri-La meant there was going to be an Asian bias to the buffet, and I was not disappointed in this regard. Fresh dim sum and noodle stations were just two of my favourite spots along the winding buffet. Being a buffet in Dubai meant there were sections which covered something for the Middle Eastern, Western and Desi pallets as well. I ordered myself a lovely bowl of breakfast noodle soup, spiking it with some fiery chilli sauce for that little extra wake me up. Goooood morning Dubai. Everything on this buffet is of the highest quality. Service at all Shangri-La venues is excellent, and Dunes Café was no different. In addition to being genuinely friendly, I found their staff attentive and accommodating. Dunes has themed nights for dinner almost every night, the crown jewel of which is their surf and turf Lobster, Seafood and Wagyu Beef Buffet which at AED 475 minus drinks isn’t cheap but I hear its excellent. Themes vary so be sure to call ahead to find out before coming. Is the breakfast worth AED 150? If you’ve got an Emirates NBD card it certainly is because you get 25% off. We had our Anniversary Dinner here and all the staff are so accomodating and aside for the fact that the starters and mains are superb! Maybe more improvement on Dessert? But our complimentary cake is to die for 😋😋😋

We had a lovely time at the Dunes yesterday! The team at the restaurant were super attentive and courteous. Shangrila always takes their pride in their people ! Nafeesa made sure all guests were happy and looked after our kids as well by offering balloons, nice touch. The food spread was amazing for the sea food night. The food quality was super and the deserts were plentiful! I also briefly met a waiter at the lobby bar who communicated well with guests and offered extensive information about their offerings. Overall we will definitely return back for the dinners/lunches and we kept nice memories of last night .

Food selection ok, all the chefs there were very very pleasant and helpful and awesome. But service super bad. This all i can say no one attending to our or other tables, i even heard someone complaining they asked drinks from 2p mins. I had one drink and wasn't able to asl for another. The chefs were more seen than the service that night horrible experience, i am sorry but i felt i need to comment on this when google sent me notification about this. It was a bad experience and maybe never again
