Riyadh Air has announced a new initiative for its Sfeer loyalty program, offering Founding Members six months of complimentary Uber One membership, thereby expanding the benefits available to its aviation passengers.
This partnership with Uber Technologies aims to enrich the travel and lifestyle experience for members of the Sfeer program. By providing access to Uber One, Riyadh Air seeks to add significant value to the journeys of its passengers throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The premium benefit allows Founding Members to enjoy various features within the Uber app, including 10 percent cashback on eligible rides, access to top-rated drivers, and priority support. This initiative builds on an earlier partnership established between Riyadh Air and Uber earlier this year, focusing on creating a seamless travel experience for customers both domestically and internationally.
Kim Hardaker, Vice President of Loyalty and Sustainability at Riyadh Air, emphasized the importance of extending premium services beyond air travel. The integration of Uber One into the Sfeer program is part of a broader commitment to enhance member benefits through collaborations with world-class partners, ensuring that the program remains essential for travelers in Saudi Arabia and beyond.
In addition to the Uber One membership, Sfeer members can anticipate new features, including gamified elements and community-sharing options. Founding Members will also benefit from priority booking for future flights, exclusive access to events, and special offers from partners.
Ahmed Arab, Head of Business Development for the Middle East and Africa at Uber, highlighted that this partnership aims to elevate the overall traveler experience. By integrating Uber One into the Sfeer program, both companies are working towards a vision of a connected and effortless travel journey that extends beyond the flight itself.
This new benefit aligns with Riyadh Air's strategic goal of creating an interconnected travel and lifestyle ecosystem for its members. As the airline plans to connect Saudi Arabia to over 100 destinations by 2030, its collaboration with Uber represents a significant step towards merging technology, hospitality, and convenience to deliver a world-class travel experience.
